Dead Space Cheats & Spoilers

Getting through USG Ishimura is too difficult? Can't wait till all your rig is maxed out? Or you just finished the game and simply want to do some rock'n'roll? Then this section is for you! Otherwise keep yourself away from this- it's totally a spoiler area.



Dead Space Spoiler Tips
The tips are the same for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Peng Treasure could be found in the very first area on USG Ishimura- it's on trails down below at the landing bay. However when you arrive your kinesis power is not activated yet, so you won't be able to get it until you visit the area again in later chapters. Then you can pick up Peng Treasure and earn an easy trophy/achievement! It also could be sold in the store for nice money without loosing your earned trophy/achievement.

There's a trick of how to avoid damage in the final boss fight. When it raises to land its tentacles on you then at that very moment reload your gun. If the timing is right then either monster won't hit you or your health bar won't decrease (it depends on the fight stage- there are 3 of them).

The final boss fight consists of 3 parts. In the first part you have to shoot its 3 eyes (there are 5 of them overall). After that the 'interactive cutscene' is triggered and you have to shoot off the remaining 2 'eyes' while its tentacle is bringing you into the monster's mouth (let's hope it's a mouth not something else, but you never know...). The last part is similar to the first one- just this time you have to aim its... hmm... 'balls'? Ah, and I forgot to mention- few necromorphs will join you for this final party too!
Have fun and enjoy the final boss- one of the most impressive monsters ever! (Kudos, Dead Space artists!)

I'm no lunch for you, Mr. Final Boss! If you're having difficulties with the second part of Final Boss Fight, try the following simple technique. In the first stage where you have to shoot off 3 'eyes' of the monster, try shooting all 5 spots in a loop and making as much damage as possible to ALL of them (they start bleeding with something yellowish). So when the 'lunchtime' scene is triggered you would have to do only 1-2 shots to the remaining 'eyes'. Good luck with the third part, though :)

Military Suit (Level 6) Schematics, Impossible mode, additional 10 Power Nodes and 50,000 credits are unlocked after you complete the game.

Note: Military Suit is a must-see rig whatsoever. Regardless of how scared you're of being in USG Ishimura, you MUST get at least to the first shop and buy the suit for 90,000 credits (that's not a problem with the unlocked 50,000 credits). Military Suit is one of the best designs that you can find in Sci-Fi games or films ever!

If you're out of ammo, but you're near a bench and you have some power nodes, you can refill your weapon's ammunition to the maximum by upgrading its capacity node.

If you want to play again with all your gained stuff (rig upgrades, weapons, credits and everything else), don't start a new game, but load the save file 'GAME CLEARED'
Though, if you'll want to change the difficulty level, you'll have to start the game from the very scratch...
